christmas

Today I fell asleep in the middle of the hallway while my sweet husband finished bathing the girls and then tucked them in bed.

I will clearly never fully understand Mary's sacrifice to bring Christ to all of us. But this Christmas I cherish the reality that I too am tired, and round, and loving a precious little one who makes me so.

And I love, love the fact that my children can make that connection too.

What a sweet sentiment! I totally know what you mean. I just had my baby a few weeks ago and while watching the Joy to the World video for FHE last night I was totally having sympathy pains for Mary. Can you imagine delivering your baby BY YOURSELF with nobody but your husband to help? In a BARN? Heck I make all our visitors now use hand sanitizer before they can see her, I'd probably have a heart attack if a bunch of sheperds and farm animals showed up!

I had just watched this before logging into my google reader. I loved it! That child narrator did a super job - so wonderful - it brought tears to my eyes.
